My family and I celebrated my husband's 32nd birthday at Mr. Basrai's yesterday and we had the loveliest time, there were so many foods to choose from and a lot of wonderful desserts, too. As an autistic person, eating at restaurants can be difficult, but this buffet was so quiet and had such a calming atmosphere with options to suit even the pickiest of palates. The staff were also kind and patient and my mum and I were even given lollipops before we left. Everything was cooked beautifully — the chicken pakora, gulab jamun, and baked yoghurt were my favourites, a wholeheartedly recommended visit when in Ayr, we will definitely be back for another special occasion.

We were in our for a family wedding. Our huge family group from Seattle, Las Vegas, Maryland and Glasgow descended on this restaurant only 30 minutes before it’s closing time. The adults in our party were far outnumbered by the children, but that did not Phase the owners chefs nor servers at this fabulous place. There were so many options. They helped me figure out ingredients and serving sizes so that I could appropriately dose my child with Type 1 Diabetes. When I shared that I loved a certain spice on a dish, one of the gentleman took me To show me the spices that went into it so that I could replicate it back here in Seattle! It’s amazing when you can feed a huge number of people with all different cuisines and at the same time be treated like family by those who own and work the restaurant. I cannot wait to visit this establishment again in the future!

The service was excellent, with friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere. The food was delicious, offering plenty of great options to choose from. They even brought out a lovely birthday cake with "Happy Birthday" written on it—overall, a wonderful experience.

Maybe because of the town being a seaside town less people are around in Feb/Mar. Was very quiet, food was very towards Indian style. So a lot of curries and even certain items had more of an Indian twist. But all still very tasty for a reasonable price. Hats off to the grilling chef. The medium-rare steak was amazing and perfectly cooked!

Staff are all very courteous and attentive. I enjoy the buffet lunch so much that I come 2 times in 2 weeks! I'm heavily pregnant. The staff let me choose between a booth or a table that I find most comfortable. There are stir fry, taco & pasta stations that freshly made per your order. It takes normally 5-10mins to prepare and they'll bring the food to the table, so you don't have to stand there waiting. Lunch buffet has lesser food items than dinner buffet, but there's more than plenty to fill your stomach with yummy food. I recommend sushis, lamb curry, spicy chicken wings, calamari rings, crab claws, naan breads, garlic pizza, fry noodles with vegs at the wok station, risotto & carbonara. I enjoy the creme brulee, blueberry cheesecake & walnut brownie for dessert.

Popped in for a bite to eat at lunch time and was really impressed. The selection and quality of food was really high. Very affordable too. The place wasn't busy and the served food portions were managed just right rather than being overwhelming. Unlimited soft drinks for a fixed price were a great option. Highly recommend.

Went with my husband and daughter for my birthday lunch, after visiting Redemption Tattoo Club. Food was lovely, staff very attentive. A couple of dishes weren't as hot as we would have liked, so a staff member immediately went round turning over food to make sure it was all hot. One of the chefs also made us the dish fresh from the hot plate which was great. Choice was really good. We especially liked that the cake type desserts were in bite-sized portions. Will definitely visit again!
